A compact, inexpensive mini dredger can be assembled by anyone.
For this, you need two motor pumps:
1. High-pressure motor pump for clean water
2. Motor pump for dirty water
The high-pressure motor pump supplies water to the nozzle, which creates a water flow that destroys bottom sediments.
The motor pump for dirty water pumps them out and moves the sediment to a distance of 50-70 meters for a settling tank.
Motor pumps can be placed on a pontoon or a large boat if the work is expected to be at a distance from the shore.
Or even on the pier, if the bottom cleaning is planned near the shore.
Using a mini dredger, you can clean and / or deepen the pier and fairway in the dock. You can lift sand from the bottom of the river and lay it on the shore to create a sandy beach or lay sand under the foundation of a future house.
I manufacture only suction nozzles with nozzles for specific motor pumps and provide advice on their selection and operation.
Suction nozzles may differ in the size of the filter holes. Different models of motor pumps can pass different sizes of debris. And to prevent large debris (especially stones that can damage the pump) from getting into the pump, the size of the filter holes on the suction nozzle is limited.
Also, the size of the nozzle itself depends on the throughput of the motor pump. Motor pumps are available for different hose sizes 3″, 4″, 5″, 6″, respectively, and the size of the connected camlocks must correspond to the diameter of the hose and the area of the suction holes itself must correspond to the volume of the pumped water-mud pulp.
